Kabarak Moodle Access Guide | Moodle.kabarak.ac.ke

Kabarak Moodle is an open-source learning management system (LMS) that is used to deliver blended and online courses throughout Kabarak University.

Students can access Moodle to perform a wide range of tasks such as submitting assignments and collaborating with their teachers in the learning environments to enhance their students learning experience at Kabarak.

You can login to the Moodle to access your dashboard or link to learning materials. You can also communicate and collaborate with other students using the course forums or discuss topics, share ideas and even feedback on each other’s work.

To login as a student on the Moodle site:

1. Go to the Moodle Login/Web Single Sign-On page at https://eserver.kabarak.ac.ke/students/

2. The username and password field will open.

3. Enter your User kabarak.ac.ke/students/ and press ‘Next’

4. Enter your Password and click “Log In” or Click Enter. The Dashboard displays, containing a list of links to all your Moodle courses.

To log out of Moodle, click on your name at the top right of the page, and click Logout.

Access All Kabarak Moodle course

When they have logged in, the Moodle home page opens. A list of Moodle courses is visible in the My courses block (top right) and in the Navigation tab. To open the Moodle course page, select a Moodle course from the list. here is how to view your courses

1. Log in to Moodle.

2. Courses that you have access to will appear on your dashboard.

3. Click the name of the course. The course home page displays.

If you are having trouble accessing your Kabarak course, go to the Moodle dashboard to learn more about customizing your dashboard, or click on “Site Home” at the top of the navigation block to search for your course.

Kabarak Moodle App – Moodle.kabarak.ac.ke

Moodle Student app allows Kabarak students to access their courses and groups using a mobile device. Students can submit assignments, participate in discussions, and view grades and course materials by using their phones.

The app also gives access to course calendars, To-Do items, notifications, and Conversation messages. Moodle Student app is available for both Android and iOS devices.

Download Moodle Kabarak App

1. Using your Android device, open Google Play Store Google Play.

2. Locate or browse for Moodle app on the search bar.

4. Select “Moodle Student” when the result appears.

5. Select Install and wait for a few minutes for it to complete downloading.

Kabarak Moodle Notes and Assignment

Assignments are the tasks given to Kabarak students by their lecturer and tutors to complete in a specified time. They can also be referred to as the work given to students as a part of learning.

A Kabarak Moodle assignment activity is where your Teacher records your grade and provides feedback on your work. Sometimes the Moodle assignment activity is just to remind students about an assignment that is submitted in person, and for these assignments, the feedback may or may not be received through the Moodle assignment activity.

The Assignment activity provides a convenient database of student submissions. It allows students to submit work to their teacher for grading. The work may be text typed online or uploaded files of any type on the teacher’s device.

How to Submit Assignment in Kabarak Moodle

To find your assignments you can either browse the course for the assignment icon or you can navigate to the Activities block on the right side of the course and click on Assignments to see a list of all assignments in the course.

This list of assignments displays what unit the assignment is in, the assignment name, due date, submission status, and if it has been graded, the assignment grade. To see the assignment description, click on the assignment name.

To submit your assignment:

1. Go to the assignment activity and click the “Add” submission button.

2. You will either make a File submission, such as a Word document, or type text into the online text submission area.

3. If it’s an online text submission enter the text into the online text submission box.

4. click the Save changes button.

How to Take Moodle Note

Moodle Notes is a feature that allows students to pick and write down some important points while reading. It is a way to attach information about a particular topic by students.

After you logged in to Kabarak e-elearning portal and you’re still on the page you’ll see menus such as a resource, forum post, or quiz, you can note down anything that comes up in your mind. Click on the note-taking button. Wait for the overlay to finish loading. Drag and drop content from the course page or simply enter your notes.

Kabarak University e-learning Portal

Kabarak University e-Learning portal is the portalthat offers students interaction and collaboration on e-Learning content like courses, presentations, podcasts and tests as well as content management for e-Learning providers. They include Moodle, Canvas, Blackboard etc.

The e-learning portal is a hub or access point where your elearning content and resources are stored centrally for all the students of Kabarak Univarsity.

To Access the Kabarak University e-Learning portal:

1. Type in https://kabarak.ac.ke/home-page-default/ on your favourite browser.

2. Then click “Student Login”.

3. Enter your username and password For username. Your password should be your Student Registration number.

4. After entering your login credential click “Log In”.
