The management of the University of South Africa (UNISA) has released the names of applicants offered admission into its various programmes for the 2023/2024 academic year. All UNISA applicants can now check their application status online.
This is to inform all the candidates that applied for UNISA admission that the management of the institution has shortlisted the names of successfully admitted candidates. The admission list has been uploaded online.
How to Check UNISA 2023 Status?
Currently, you can only access your UNISA application status on UNISA Status Checker Portal by following the procedure outlined below:
1. Go to the UNISA Official Status Checker, click HERE
2. Enter your Student number.
3. Enter Your Surname.
4. Write your first name in full in the third box.
5. Fill in your date of birth (Year, month, and day).
6. Then click on “Continue” to see the status of your application.
If you have been offered admission your name will show. You must accept or decline UNISA’s offer within the specified period of time which is 10 days from the date of the offer.
How do you accept UNISA offer? Simply go to www.unisa.ac.za/acceptoffer, Click on “Offer”, and follow the instructions.
How will I know if UNISA accepted me?
You can check to know if UNISA has accepted you at any time. What you need is your student number, surname, and date of birth, and you must fill them in on the Admission Status Checker” page to track Your application status.
From there, UNISA will inform you of the outcome of your application. If your application was successful, it will indicate for which qualification you are being offered a space.
Note that the application status checker is different from the UNISA student portal. The portal is for returning students and not applicants.
